care and maintenance
Cooke products are crafted with enduring materials and thoughtful engineering to perform beautifully for years to come. With simple care, you can preserve their elegance and functionality season after season.

Natural Stone Finishes (Granite, Marble, Quartzite)
Our natural stone surfaces are durable yet require mindful care to maintain their character over time. Clean regularly with a soft cloth and diluted mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals, acidic cleaners, or abrasive pads, which can damage the stone or its sealant. Natural stones like granite, marble, and quartzite should be resealed periodically to protect against moisture absorption and staining. Always wipe up spills promptly, particularly acidic substances like wine, citrus, or coffee, to preserve the surface’s natural beauty.

Sintered Stone Finishes (Neolith, Dekton)
Neolith and Dekton surfaces are engineered for maximum durability and resistance to stains, scratches, and UV exposure. For everyday care, simply wipe with a soft cloth and mild soap mixed with water. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals. Although these surfaces are extremely resilient, prompt cleaning of spills will help maintain their refined appearance over time.

Powder Coated Aluminum Finishes
Our powder coated aluminum frames are highly durable and designed to resist corrosion, chipping, and fading. Clean surfaces regularly with a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive soap diluted in water. Avoid abrasive scrubbers, solvent-based cleaners, or harsh chemicals. To maintain the finish, rinse off dust and debris periodically and wipe dry to prevent water spotting.

Metal Finishes (Electro-Plated, Brushed Stainless Steel, COR-TEN Steel)
Care for our other metal finishes with simple routine maintenance. Wipe surfaces gently with a damp cloth and mild, non-abrasive soap. Stainless steel may develop minor surface markings over time, which can be polished if desired. COR-TEN steel is crafted to naturally weather and form a protective patina; occasional rinsing to remove surface debris is all that’s needed. Avoid harsh chemicals or aggressive cleaning techniques to preserve the metals’ natural character.

Outdoor Upholstery and Inserts
To preserve the softness and colorfastness of our outdoor fabrics, brush off dirt regularly and clean with mild soap and lukewarm water using a soft cloth or sponge. Allow cushions and inserts to fully air dry before storage. For extended product life, protect textiles from prolonged exposure to harsh weather with tailored covers or by storing them in a sheltered area during off-seasons.

Natural Wood (Teak, Ipe, Acacia)
Our hardwoods are selected for their exceptional performance outdoors. Left untreated, they will gracefully develop a silver-gray patina over time. To maintain their original warmth and tone, apply a wood protector or oil annually. Clean periodically with a soft-bristled brush and mild soap solution. Avoid high-pressure washing, which can erode the wood’s natural surface.

Weather Covers
Our weather covers are specifically designed to protect your furniture from UV rays, moisture, and environmental debris while allowing airflow to prevent mold or mildew. Always ensure the furniture is dry and clean before covering. Clean covers occasionally with a mild soap solution and let them air dry fully to maintain their protective qualities.
